Durability and versatility for garage doors, gates & fences

The Exciting Alternative

A garage door presents quite a large area. In some cases it can take up to 30% of the front aspect of a home. Obviously the type of cladding will have a significant effect on the appearance of a home.

What are the alternatives?

Traditional roll formed profiles, eg. Corrugated iron.
   Durable but not very pretty.

Plywood with a mould pattern.
These can be very attractive but once exposed to the weather, shrinkage and warping set in.

When appearance and durability are important, Customet is worth considering.

Range of Patterns

Customet comes in a range of patterns designed to enhance any home (see figure below). The infill panel can be used to break up the pattern or trim the sides of the door.

Weather-resistant zinc coating

Customet is formed from heavy gauge steel sheet, zinc coated for corrosion protection.

Heavy Duty Material

Provides added security and resistance to incidental damage.

Finishing

As with any painting job the finish depends on the preparation. To prepare the surface wipe it down with a solvent to remove any grease or oil. Paint can now be applied.

Fixing

The door frame should be constructed to provide adequate support, with beams and vertical members positioned to provide good fixing.
